Move forward into Guillotine Square for...not a fight. Head a bit further into the square for a scene. Jack Skellington and The Mayor are added to the Journal.

There are a handful of chests to grab before continuing with the story, but only two are accessible right now. Next to the fountain is set of large stairs. Stand just at the top, then jump up to a ledge to grab on. The floor dips a bit as it goes closer to the wall, which makes the ledge higher than Sora's jump. See the screenshot below for the perfect spot.

Guide for KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX (2)

The chest up here holds a Power Up. Jump down and head to the other side of the square and go through a gate to find a small house at the top of another large flight of stairs. Underneath the stairs is a Thundara-G in a chest. Climb up the stairs to the house and Pull on the doorbell three times to get an Elixir.

Next to the house is the door to Lab Entryway, which in turn leads to Research Lab. Sora meets Dr. Finkelstein, and Halloween Town is added to Chronicles. Examine the bookshelf to find a Torn Page (4/5) before leaving the lab. On the other side of the house with the doorbell is a hidden path that leads to the Graveyard.

Defeat the Wight Knight enemies here, then Sora will meet Sally and Zero, and obtain the Forget-Me-Not. Leave the Graveyard to add Lock, Shock, and Barrel as well. Return to the lab and speak with the doctor. The scene that follows adds Oogie Boogie too.

Return to the Graveyard and Examine the coffin at the other end. This takes you to a small offshoot area called the Boneyard. The Mayor is here, but in order to get a surprise from him, you need to do a quick memory puzzle. Three ghosts will rise from the nearby graves. There are seven graves in total, so count what order they rise in, then Examine each of them in turn. The giant pumpkin in this area will have broken open, revealing a chest inside. Open it for the Jack-in-the-Box.

Return to the doctor again, view the scene, then leave the lab. Halloween Town will update in Chronicles, and the Gargoyle will start to appear. Follow Zero back to the Boneyard, and Examine the new gravestone that appears to enter Moonlight Hill.

This room is a potential spawn point for Black Fungus. If you have already attempted the Pegasus Cup at Olympus Coliseum, they are already in the Journal. If not, this will most likely be the first place you meet them.

There is a platform here that you can light with Fire. This is a shortcut to the Graveyard. Start climbing the hill and Examine the gravestones to cross over to the Bridge. The bridge itself sits over top of a small river that exits back to Guillotine Square. There is a Flare-G in a chest under the bridge, and you can use the various ledges to reach a Meteor-G and a Defense Up to the left and right, respectively.

Once you have all three chests, enter Oogie's Manor.

Cross the rickety bridge and open the green chest for an Ether before entering the building. Open another chest for another Ether, then use Fire on the platform and ride it up. Climb the ramp all the way up to the Evil Playroom to fight Lock, Shock, and Barrel. They like to jump and run around, making them hard to hit, but you can hit them with Stop to get in a few good hits, and most offensive magic will hurt them.

After the fight, make sure to attack the lever in the corner, then use the save point before exiting the playroom. Sora is looking for a green door, and it is located at the bottom of the tower. Before doing that, however, there are several chests that are now accessible.

Oogie's Manor is unique in this game, as it is only accessible in it's current form for a limited amount of time. After defeating the final boss of Halloween Town, this structure as you see it vanishes.

In the original PS2 version of Kingdom Hearts, that meant any missed treasure chests were gone for good. In the Final Mix version, the one you are playing, these chests are made available afterwards when you revisit this map. I will show you how to get each chest right here, but if you miss one for any reason, they are NOT gone forever.

Follow the pathway down until you reach the stone tower. Instead of continuing down, head straight across. There is a building to the right that used to have closed doors. Inside is a chest with puppies no. 40/41/42. Keep going to the cage that has been lowered. Inside is a Mega-Ether in a chest. Look over the edge of the walkway here to see another one below, next to a cable holding another cage. Jump down here, then down again to the lowest level by the second cage. There is an Orichalcum in the chest here.

From this level, Examine the doors nearby to be transported next to the green door, which leads to the Torture Chamber.

Boss: Oogie Boogie

Drops: Holy Circlet, Ansem's Report 7Oogie drops Sora and co. into a really weird version of roulette. Oogie will toss some dice, and whatever number he gets determines what kind of trap Sora has to face. If you attack the dice before they stop rolling, Sora hits them back and prevents the higher number results from appearing.

You're waiting for Oogie Boogie to start running along the top rail of this chamber. When he does so, buttons on the floor near Sora will light up. You want to step on a button as Oogie is passing by that section of the table. Doing so raises a bunch of gates, as well as the platform Sora is on. This lets you get exactly 10 strikes against Oogie before he blows Sora away.

Do this a bunch of times until Oogie is defeated.

Speedrun: Those 10 strikes? The game counts the ones done by your party members as well, not just Sora. Ideally, you want to hit the button on the table when only Sora is in the right section. That way you can get full damage in, and not have to worry about Donald, Goofy, or Jack stopping your combo finisher from registering.

Boss: Oogie Boogie Manor

Phase 2, baby!

There are a bunch of darkness pustules across the giant body of Oogie Boogie. Sora needs to destroy all of them to defeat Oogie once and for all. Start by jumping down to the ground.

Use Oogie's left foot to reach some ledges, and climb up to reach the first blob. Jump around the piece of building with purple windows to reach the second blob. Keep moving to the right, but when you see the next blob, drop down first to find one hiding. Destroy them both.

Sora is now in range of Oogie's attacks, so be aware of your surroundings. Keep following the path along the outside of Oogie Manor to find the fifth, sixth, and seventh blobs.

After the building is destroyed, Sora will seal the Keyhole and Gravity will be upgraded to Gravira. Back at the lab, Jack will give Sora the Pumpkinhead Keyblade, Oogie Boogie will be updated in Characters 2, and Halloween Town will receive it's final entry in Chronicles. Return to the gummi ship to unlock an Achievement.

Your next destination is Neverland. Set off from either Halloween Town or Atlantica, towards the only point on the World Map you haven't been to yet.

COLLECTIBLES

After landing, go forward into Guillotine Square and jump up to where you found the Power Up during the first visit. It's the jump at the top of the stairs. From that small nook, look out to the left towards a building shaped like a head with it's mouth open. See the picture below for reference.

Guide for KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX (8)

Glide over and into the mouth of the building. There are two chests in here that hold an Elixir and puppies no. 70/71/72. Visit Moonlight Hill by way of the Graveyard, and look for the White Trinity. The chest that appears hold puppies no. 67/68/69.

There is a gravestone Sora can Examine that takes the group into a previously locked area. Right away the camera shows a chest, and there is a Scissors-G inside. There is another chest near where Sora arrives (it's small and green) that holds a Holy-G. Behind some graves in the far corner is a Dark Matter in a red chest. Keep exploring this small area for another green chest and puppies no. 64/65/66.

Return to Moonlight Hill, cross over to the Bridge, and enter Manor's Ruins. Drop down to find the last Red Trinity and open the chest for a Mythril Shard. If you missed any of the chests when climbing the tower the first time through, you can find them in a small hole in the ground in the center of this area.

The Red Trinity here serves a second purpose: to tell you whether or not the rare Chimera Heartless has spawned. If you are unsure whether or not you have used this Trinity already, look above the gate for a chest. If it is gone, then Sora has already activated this Trinity, and you can move on.

SYNTHESIS ITEM FARMING

There are a few different items to gather here.

----------

In the Graveyard, you can occasionally find three White Mushrooms. You can get Mystery Goo by casting any three spells, and the appropriate Shard for whatever the third spell is. You can get Spell Arts for Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Cure, and Aero here.

In Moonlight Hill, Black Fungus have a chance to spawn. They may also drop Mystery Goo.

In the Bridge area, Rare Truffles may appear. This is a decent place to practice juggling them for Mystery Goo, although Neverland is better.

----------

Return to the Manor Ruins for a chance at fighting the Chimera and getting a Blazing Stone.

Guide for KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX (9)

Drop down off the bridge and fight a couple waves of Wight Knights to make the Chimera appear. It will hop onto the nearby boulder and stay up there for most of the fight. It also regularly summons some Gargoyles. (They can drop Lucid Gems.)

Guide for KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX (10)

This is a handy trick to find out whether or not the Chimera will spawn when you enter the Manor Ruins. The icon for the Red Trinity that is down here will continue to appear when the Chimera is NOT going to spawn. If you see the Trinity Mark, leave and come back.

There isn't that much to talk about regarding general tactics. This is a slightly stronger Heartless, but by no means is it difficult to defeat. What you want to look for are the brightly coloured orbs that it occasionally spews out of it's body. You want to hit these to deflect them back at the Chimera. Doing so gives you 10p per orb deflected. The higher chain you get, the better chance of the Blazing Stone dropping. I have seen multiple instances of it drop during the combat, as well as one afterwards when the Chimera dies.

You need a total of 7 Blazing Stones to complete all synthesis items.
